Selected companies, please submit your final Participation Fee

• Present their technologies, capabilities and operations to reputable venture capitalists, corporate investors and partners. 20 minutes presentation per company followed by one-on-one meetings with interested parties.
  
  
• Network with investors, business leaders and potential future partners, who have a particular interest in European Cleantech companies.
  
  
• Meet with US-based Cleantech and environmental government agencies and development organizations.
  
  
• Meet with US-based support organizations, such as law firms, consulting firms and other third party organizations with prior experience working with European companies entering the US.
  
  
• Participate in an expert panel discussion on Cleantech and how your Company can be successful in the US.

Building on last year's success, the BCVD Organizing Committee is ensuring highly qualified level of attendees, keynote speakers and panel participants.

Who should apply to present at the Venture Day:

• Specifically focused on addressing some aspect of the Cleantech marketplace.
  
  
• An organized business executing on a well-defined business plan.
  
  
• Business is based upon some proprietary intellectual property, technology or business process.
  
  
• Headquartered and organized as a business entity in Europe and currently conducting the majority of its operations in Europe.
  
  
• Currently looking to either: (a) access venture capital/private equity/corporate venture funding in North America, (b) form a commercial partnership with a North American business, and/or (c) entertain strategic partnership opportunities (sale, merger, acquisition) with a North American business.

Event Details

European Cleantech companies will be given 20 minutes to present at the conference. Space will also be offered during the entire day for a table-top exhibit to display Company material and enable one-on-one discussions with interested parties.

Highly respected keynote speakers, investors and businesses focused on Cleantech will make presentations on the latest trends in the industry. The keynote speakers include: Howard Berke, Executive Chairman, Co-founder, Konarka Technologies, Alexander (Hap) Ellis III , General Partner, RockPort Capital Partners, and John T. Preston, Managing Partner, C Change Investments.

Companies will be selected to present based on their prospects, uniqueness of technology, market validation, and management experience. The Investor Advisory Board, which will select presenting companies, consists of experienced venture capitalists, management/technology consultants and Cleantech experts. Several companies in fields such as Batteries, Smart Grid, Ocean Power, Heat Pumps, Solar Power, and Wind Power have already registered.

The event will take place in Boston on November 10, 2009, at Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge LLP at 111 Huntington Avenue, 20th Floor, Boston, MA 02199.

The participation fee for each Cleantech company that is selected to present is $1000. The fee includes participation of up to two people from each company. If you co-register to the Nov. 11th UNiversity Day and the Nov. 12th & 13th Conference on Clean Energy, you benefit from preferentail package prices.

How to Register:

To apply to present at BCVD, fill out the Company Questionnaire and submit a $100 non-refundable initial registration fee. This $100 will be credited against the full registration fee

When accepted as presenter to BCVD, complete your full registration fee by paying $900 (for a total of $1,000)

If you wish to co-register to the University Day and the Conference on Clean Energy (CCE 2009), pay the following total prices (subtract $100 if you already paid the initial registration fee):

2 presenters at BCVD +2 attendees at CCE 2009 +2 attendees at Univ. Day = $1390

2 presenters at BCVD +1 attendee at CCE 2009 +2 attendees at Univ. Day =$1195

2 presenters at BCVD +2 pitching at CCE 2009 +2 attendees at Univ. Day = $1475

2 presenters at BCVD +1 pitching at CCE 2009 +2 attendees at Univ. Day = $1375
